Bushes and palms got a nice trim today! Poor things were all dead inside so they had to be cut back nearly to the ground. Hopefully they will grow back much healthier than before.

Today was our ladies luncheon at Buffalo's so Caleb and Jensen went to daycare for a couple hours so mommy got some grown up time. I guess Caleb's class made some Cat in the Hat hats for Dr. Suess' birthday. He wanted  me to take a picture of him with the soldier outside of his CYS building.

Today, after my sister left, we hung out at home for a bit before meeting Brandy and the kiddos for dinner and then play time at the Treehouse on post. They all had a blast and the boys came home and promptly passed out!

Where I spent my afternoon ... napping on the couch. I woke up thinking it was the 22nd and that we were late to the boys' doctors appt. Nearly had a heart attack.


Side Note: Just for Brandy ... I did indeed have a "Gavin" meltdown on this night. I was trying to watch Netflix on the PS3 and it kept telling me I had to update the system. Well, I have no idea how to do this so I start huffing and puffing and growling at the stupid thing. All I wanted to do was watching some effing Netflix. I finally get it to update and it's taking 20 yrs so I start huffing again and rolling around like I'm being slowly murdered. After about 50 yrs, I get into the menu, click on Netflix, sign in again, and for a moment (though it seemed like forever) it tells me I can't sign in because I must sign in .... Almost cried. Eventually I did get to watch what I wanted though, so everyone around me lived to see another day :)

Today the boys and went on a 3 hour road trip up to Macon, Ga with Brandy, Gavin, and Ally to meet up with Ronnie for a kids's weekend with dad. On the way up we stopped at a gas station for a bathroom/snack break and Jensen stuck a fruity cheerio to his nose :)
